SIM Switchgear offers an innovative retrofit service for obsolete circuit breaker systems. The retrofit helps to avoid the potential for fault development or complete shutdown.

The new vacuum retrofit for the Whipp & Bourne DV40/53 Circuit Breaker involves installing an Areva HVX Circuit Breaker within the existing carriage.

To avoid the time-consuming process of modifying the switchboard, the original switchboard is maintained including busbars, main interlocks and protection remain unchanged. This provides a reliable and inexpensive way to maintain consistent performance for years to come.

All circuit diagrams are updated on CAD as part of the package.
