415V IF2 AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER RETROFIT

WHIPP & BOURNE CIRCUIT BREAKER

In recognising the customers needs to support old and obsolete circuit breakers, SIM have developed a (RET IF2-AR212S) for the 415V IF2 Whipp & Bourne Circuit Breaker
The retrofit consists of installing a Terasaki AR212S ACB within the existing Whipp & Bourne carriage. The existing switchboard protection can be retained by using a Non-Automatic type ACB or a new programmable protection relay which can be incorporated with the ACB.

The main interlocks have been retained in the modification to prevent the retrofit being installed or removed from the switchboard whilst in the closed position. By carrying out the retrofit this way it alleviates the necessity to modify the main switchboard busbars.

A Cost effective solution which guarantees future support and reliability for many years.

As part of the retrofit package, customers drawings are updated on CAD to the latest standards producing standard drawings for each circuit type.

Advantages:

– Efficient Upgrade For Aging Equipment
– Guaranteed Future Support
– Innovative Method Saves Time & Money
– Updated CAD Drawings
